A recent submission:

I am not sure if who this feedback will go to but I just want to be heard along with some of my colleagues. I am Senior at Alcorn. I was a freshman fall '91. I left Alcorn after 3 semesters. After a long vacation I returned. What I want to know is why don't Alcorn State's hardest working team/squad get any support, recognition, or asistance. Who are we, you ask? The 1998/1999 ASU Chearleaders/Tumblers.

I think that we are one of the hardest working and most dedicated to school spirit. Cheerleaders are finally on the homepage but it's the squad from '97/98. Can we get a little recognition?

I mean we do this for the love of it. No scholarship, No voucher, No needy checks, No equipment*, and No Recognition. We are athletes, too. Chearleading is not easy. If you think so just come on down on day and try my shoes on. I like to take this time and give thanks to Ms. Barbara Wolf and Ms. Andrea Tillman for a job well done. I think that both of them go well above the call of their duty as advisers/coaches/counselors of our squad.

Whether win or lose we are there. That is if we have money to travel. I was a tumbler '91/'92 and from F '98 until present.

Vincent O. Jones
